Prime day 2025 is here! I’ve assembled some great deals for content creators on this page.

I will be updating the products July 8-11 as I discover the best active deals.

The page won’t be separated by category, these are just my “top deals” on anything that might be useful or relevant for content creators. For general tech deals, check out this page.

1. ASUS ProArt 4K & 5K Monitors

Prime Day is a good time to check for monitor deals. One of my favorite monitors to come out in recent years is the ASUS ProArt line. The latest 4K and 5K models in 27 inch sizes are terrific for anyone that needs/wants excellent color accuracy. Whether you’re a pro or hobbyist photographer, videographer, or graphic designer, the ProArt line offers great performance for the price. And the 5K 27″ model that I’m using right now with my Macbook is a terrific alternative to the Apple Studio Display.

2. Tamron 28-75mm G2 Lens (for Sony)

When I was shooting all my content with Sony cameras, this was one of my most-used lenses. The G2 is the second generation and Tamron made great improvements in image quality and build quality to this versatile zoom. If you don’t need to go wider than 28mm often, it will cover most of your needs very well and the constant f/2.8 aperture is useful in all but the darkest settings. Prime Day is a good time to get a low price on this all-arounder.

3. Panasonic Lumix S5II

This is the camera that I switched to after using Sony cameras for about a year and a half. I still use my Sony cameras in various scenarios, but the S5II opened up the capability for 6K open gate recording which has been a big help to my workflows. The S5II also has the super video-focused S5IIX cousin, but if you don’t need USB to SSD recording, the regular S5II will get you excellent video capabilities for a lower price. I have two of these and they’re my “A” and “B” cameras for videos.

4. Elgato Prompter

The Elgato Prompter is a good option for any creator wanting an easy solution for recording scripted videos without worrying about prompters that use phones/tablets with clunky apps. Elgato’s solution has a built-in screen with their own software that integrates with stream deck capabilities, and is compatible with multiple camera types – even webcams. In fact, because you can use it with a webcam, it’s even a good solution for anyone who does long-form or scripted presentations in virtual meetings or training sessions because it allows you to look right at the camera while reviewing prepared content. Some of Elgato’s gear has been included in amazon sale events previously, so it’s worth checking the prompter’s price during Prime Day.

5. Crucial X9 Pro & X10 Pro SSDs

Last year I reviewed the Crucial X9 and X10 Pro SSDs and both are very lightweight & compact options for content creators with great transfer speeds. The X9 Pro maxes out at 1,000 MB/s using USB 3.2 gen 2 devices, while the X10 Pro doubles the max speed to 2,000 MB/s but only with USB 3.2 gen 2×2 ports, which are not super common across device manufacturers. There are Windows devices out there with 3.2 gen 2×2 ports that can take advantage of the X10 Pro’s top speeds, but Mac devices (even those with Thunderbolt ports) and USB-C phones will only reach about half the max speed. That means that for many users, the X9 Pro is actually a better buy as it’s usually lower-priced and matches the same speeds. The only caveat to be aware of for Mac users is that Crucial doesn’t offer firmware update software for MacOS, only Windows. I personally use several of these drives and am very happy with them! I recommend going for the 2TB or 4TB capacity if you’re going to use them for video file storage so they don’t fill up too quickly.

6. Samsung T7 & T7 Shield SSDs

Along with the Crucial X9 Pro and X10 Pro, my second-favorite (or maybe tied) portable SSD are Samsung’s T7 lineup. They offer the same max speeds as the X9 Pro (1,000MB/s) but Samsung does offer firmware update software for both Mac and Windows, and sometimes the T7 models are priced a tad lower than the Crucial’s (they seem to alternate which one is cheaper throughout the year). If you use your SSD outdoors a lot or for extensive travel, the T7 Shield is a nice option becuase of its extra-durable coating and higher water resistance rating (IP65 vs IP55 for the Crucial models).

7. Focusrite Vocaster Two Audio Interface

The Vocaster line from Focusrite is tailor-made for content creators. It’s not just for podcasting though, and works equally well for video content when you need an interface for an XLR microphone because it has a dedicated 3.5mm camera output. It also features 70dB of clean gain to power dynamic microphones. I have a Vocaster One (same features but only one XLR input) and have found it very easy to use and it has all the right inputs/outputs for a content creator to get started making high-quality recordings or broadcasts, including some realtime processing for a more polished sound in a live scenario.

8. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen Audio Interface

If your audio interface needs lean more in the direction of music or needing 1/4 inch inputs over the content-creation focus of the Vocaster, then the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen is a great option. The latest generation got several spec bumps including a big gain boost for the preamps over the prior model (now 69dB) and higher dynamic range converters. I have the 2i2 4th Gen myself and in my opinion the quality is up to par with my beloved MOTU M4 (though the M4 still has a couple additional outputs and a nice visual meter – the M2 is a little more of a fair comparison). If the price is discounted significantly the 2i2 would definitely be worth the investment.

9. Elgato Wave 3 USB Condenser Microphone

The Wave 3 is on my list of top choices for podcasting microphones, and it’s great for more than that. Although it’s been out for a few years now and countless other USB condenser microphones have been released since, the Wave 3 remains a good choice for several reasons. Importantly, the sound quality is nice and not over-boosted in the high or low frequencies. It has helpful physical controls on the microphone that work well, and the headphone output is one of the cleanest I’ve tested on a USB microphone (minimal hiss). It also comes with Elgato’s Wave Link software that allows you to customize your mix and routing, and apply realtime processing to the signal.

10. Hollyland Lark M2

I reviewed the Hollyland Lark M2 and thought it was a great option for content creators who want to keep things simple but not sacrifice audio quality. The transmitters are tiny and provide 24-bit audio to a range of different receivers that will work with just about any camera or smartphone. The tradeoffs for the compact size of the transmitters are no internal recording (wireless only) and no 3.5mm input for a lav mic. But if you want a quick & easy mic that doesn’t suffer in the sound quality department, the M2 is worth a look.

11. Smallrig (Multiple)

If you need an accessory for your camera or recording setup, chances are Smallrig makes it. I love their magic clamp arms, camera cages and other accessories for the balance of quality and price. Prime day is a great time to take a look and see if your favorite accessory is on sale so you can stock up!

13. Zoom F3 Field Recorder

I love my Zoom F3. If I have to record something outdoors or in a different location than my home studio and I’m using at least one XLR mic, my F3 comes with me. The 32-bit float recording means I don’t have to worry about clipping, and the preamps are higher quality than in Zoom’s H-line of recorders (-127dBa EIN) so there’s no problem recording dynamic mics. It’s very compact, has great build quality, and has multiple power options (I like to power mine via USB-C with a power bank). It even functions as a USB audio interface! Prime day is a great time to nab one of these and up your audio game.

14. SanDisk Extreme Pro V60 SD Cards

Prime Day is a great time to look for SD cards if you need any new ones. I typically use these Sandisk Extreme Pro V60 cards for photos and video on cameras that don’t shoot high at high bit-rates (for 4K footage and higher bit-rates I use V90 cards). This is a good time to grab a higher-capacity card like 256GB due to the discounts.
