BFCM 2024 is here! I’ve assembled a list of deals for keyboard enthusiasts and content creators that I think are worth checking out. This page will be updated as I come across more deals between November 24 and December 2, 2024.

Keyboard Deals

1. Lofree Flow

The Lofree Flow is an excellent low profile mechanical keyboard that I reviewed in 2023. It has a premium look and feel with an all-aluminum case and very satisfying Kailh POM low profile switches. The typical list price of $169 might be a little bit of a stretch given its lack of 2.4GHz connection or advanced features (no firmware customization is available), but with a discounted price, this is a great option to enhance your daily typing.

2. Wobkey Rainy75

2024 has seen several enthusiast keyboard releases that offer excellent quality for the price, and the Rainy75 is one of the better ones. It offers a full aluminum build and standard & pro models that both include wireless connectivity and good battery life with an MSRP under $160. The Black Friday deal this year takes that price down close to $100 for the standard model and under $130 for the pro model, which is fantastic.

3. ASUS ROG Falchion RX Low Profile

I reviewed the Falchion RX earlier in 2024 and really enjoyed using it. While the ASUS ROG line is aimed at gaming users, this keyboard is quite enjoyable for daily typing in addition to gaming. The linear option in particular has very smooth switches and the battery life is fantastic. Customization can only be done with ASUS’ proprietary software (not QMK/VIA) but it does retain your customizations on the keyboard across devices. It also can utilize ASUS’ unifying receiver (not included) if you have multiple ASUS peripherals.

4. Logtech MX Keys Mini

The Logitech MX Keys Mini may not be a mechanical keyboard, but it is deserving of its popularity for the last few years. If you prefer the super-low profile and less key travel of a membrane keyboard, the MX Keys Mini is a quality option with nice build quality, excellent battery life, and useful backlighting. The only downside is a lack of full remapping capabilities, but that is not something that everyone requires.

5. NuPhy (Multiple)

NuPhy makes some of my favorite keyboards, and it seems just about everything they offer on amazon is part of prime day! The Air75 V2 and Air96 V2 are top-tier low profile mechanical keyboards and the Halo75 V2 which was recently released offers some nice upgrades over the original. NuPhy’s prices on amazon are listed higher than their website due to the cost of shipping to the US already being factored in, so prime day deals definitely help!

6. Epomaker (Multiple)

Epomaker is offering multiple prime day deals this year, including some nice options like the Tide65, TH80 Pro V2, and Galaxy80 all of which I have reviewed previously. Many of them are already wallet-friendly prices, so the extra discounts make them worth a second look!

7. AULA F75

The AULA F75 is a good value even when it’s not on sale, with an MSRP of $79, gasket mount, great connectivity and a customization app. I reviewed its bigger brother, the F99, and enjoyed the typing feel and quality at this price. It’s all-plastic but still feels solid, and the Black Friday deal on amazon drops the price to less than $70 which is a great deal for the feature set.

Content Creator Deals

1. Crucial X9 Pro & X10 Pro SSDs

Last year I reviewed the Crucial X9 and X10 Pro SSDs and both are very lightweight & compact options for content creators with great transfer speeds. The X9 Pro maxes out at 1,000 MB/s using USB 3.2 gen 2 devices, while the X10 Pro doubles the max speed to 2,000 MB/s but only with USB 3.2 gen 2×2 ports, which are not super common across device manufacturers. There are Windows devices out there with 3.2 gen 2×2 ports that can take advantage of the X10 Pro’s top speeds, but Mac devices (even those with Thunderbolt ports) and USB-C phones will only reach about half the max speed. That means that for many users, the X9 Pro is actually a better buy as it’s usually lower-priced and matches the same speeds. The only caveat to be aware of for Mac users is that Crucial doesn’t offer firmware update software for MacOS, only Windows. I personally use several of these drives and am very happy with them! I recommend going for the 2TB or 4TB capacity if you’re going to use them for video file storage so they don’t fill up too quickly.

2. Samsung T7 & T7 Shield SSDs

Along with the Crucial X9 Pro and X10 Pro, my second-favorite (or maybe tied) portable SSD are Samsung’s T7 lineup. They offer the same max speeds as the X9 Pro (1,000MB/s) but Samsung does offer firmware update software for both Mac and Windows, and sometimes the T7 models are priced a tad lower than the Crucial’s (they seem to alternate which one is cheaper throughout the year). If you use your SSD outdoors a lot or for extensive travel, the T7 Shield is a nice option becuase of its extra-durable coating and higher water resistance rating (IP65 vs IP55 for the Crucial models).

3. Sandisk SD Cards

Another important storage solution is SD cards, be it for your camera or audio recorder. I use Sandisk V90 SD cards in my cameras to ensure that all recording bitrates are available (V60 cards don’t support the needed write speeds for higher fps or higher bitrates). The Extreme Pro V90 cards work will all the recording options on my Sony and Panasonic cameras, including 120fps 10-bit footage. V60 cards are great for audio recording and can also handle lower bitrate video at 24fps.

4. Elgato Wave 3 USB Condenser Microphone

The Wave 3 is on my list of top choices for podcasting microphones, and it’s great for more than that. Although it’s been out for a few years now and countless other USB condenser microphones have been released since, the Wave 3 remains a good choice for several reasons. Importantly, the sound quality is nice and not over-boosted in the high or low frequencies. It has helpful physical controls on the microphone that work well, and the headphone output is one of the cleanest I’ve tested on a USB microphone (minimal hiss). It also comes with Elgato’s Wave Link software that allows you to customize your mix and routing, and apply realtime processing to the signal.

5. Audio Technica ATR2100X Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone

Another microphone on my list of top choices for podcasting microphones, the ATR2100X is a budget-friendly USB/XLR combination microphone in the style of a handheld dynamic mic that has been on the market for several years. It’s a good choice if you’re starting out and need something that won’t break the bank, has the option of both connection types, and has the quality that Audio Technica is known for.

6. Fifine AM8

Fifine makes some very affordable USB microphones. The AM8 is one of the nicer-sounding options that I’ve tested from them. It’s a dynamic USB/XLR mic that is typically priced under $70. It may not have the smoothest sound out there, but for the price it’s hard to complain. I would recommend it to someone looking to minimize the initial investment in starting out, or even if you need to buy multiple mics for a multi-host podcast. The build quality is not up to the standard of some of the more classic options like the Rode Podmic, but the quality relative to the price is still good.

7. Hollyland Lark M2

I reviewed the Hollyland Lark M2 and thought it was a great option for content creators who want to keep things simple but not sacrifice audio quality. The transmitters are tiny and provide 24-bit audio to a range of different receivers that will work with just about any camera or smartphone. The tradeoffs for the compact size of the transmitters are no internal recording (wireless only) and no 3.5mm input for a lav mic. But if you want a quick & easy mic that doesn’t suffer in the sound quality department, the M2 is worth a look.

8. Smallrig (Multiple)

If you need an accessory for your camera or recording setup, chances are Smallrig makes it. I love their magic clamp arms, camera cages and other accessories for the balance of quality and price. Prime day is a great time to take a look and see if your favorite accessory is on sale so you can stock up!

9. Zoom F3 Field Recorder

I love my Zoom F3. If I have to record something outdoors or in a different location than my home studio and I’m using at least one XLR mic, my F3 comes with me. The 32-bit float recording means I don’t have to worry about clipping, and the preamps are higher quality than in Zoom’s H-line of recorders (-127dBa EIN) so there’s no problem recording dynamic mics. It’s very compact, has great build quality, and has multiple power options (I like to power mine via USB-C with a power bank). It even functions as a USB audio interface! Prime day is a great time to nab one of these and up your audio game.

10. Viltrox Lenses

Viltrox makes some great budget-friendly options for Sony E-Mount, Fujifilm X-Mount, and Nikon Z-Mount. I personally have several of their lenses including the excellent 27mm Pro series lens which offers Sony G-Master quality at a fraction of the price. Most of their offerings are on sale both on amazon and at B&H Photo.
